James Lee – BIC’s BioProducts Cluster in Ontario

James Lee, Director Commercialization for Bioindustrial Innovation Canada tells attendees at the BIC’s 2016 Bioproducts Cluster Workshop about significant progress in the Ontario cluster’s cellulosic sugar project. Comet Biorefining recently announced that it will build a cellulosic sugar processing facility in Sarnia. The facility will require the supply of cornstalks and wheat straw as feedstocks. Going forward, BIC aims to build other value chain clusters in Ontario and other provinces.
