Distinctive “cool blue” corrugated plastic tubing for agricultural land drainage is gaining attention in Southwestern Ontario. The blue tubing is produced by Bluewater Pipe, an innovative company based in Huron Park, Ontario at the centre of the region’s rich agricultural region.

The innovative company focuses on supplying drainage contractors with high quality products and service. It offer drain tiles in sizes of 3″-12″, culverts and drainage accessories for the drainage contractor and farmers. The company also sells plastic drainage tubing for building trade and home construction.

Bluewater Pipe is a member of the Thames River Phosphorus Reduction Collaborative, The Collaborative is developing innovative tools, practices and technologies to help farmers and municipalities reduce phosphorus and algal blooms in the southwestern Ontario watershed, which feeds into Lake Erie. Company President Tony Kime has a long history of involvement in water and nutrient management initiatives in Canada and the U.S.
